Update Sep. 22, 2016: So someone asked me for a update and I figured I should put one up here. My sister and I are still hanging on, housewise. She has a roommate, which is helping. Those who donated, this helped me get my electric paid, cat food, and meds I was running out of. So thank you. :hugs: A little worried about gas/water bill (same company does both her) but I am going to contact them and posibly see if I can work something out.
I can apply for assistance with it, but onlny once per year, and I cn't do it again until November. Still trying to get the disability--I have a representative now who only gets paid if I do. I hope this will work. I have to see a counselor more often, which is going to be incredibly stressful. Also trying for a part time job, which will be even more incredibly stressful...but I don't have much of a choice. Not that anyone's calling back. I just hope I can deal with it without losing my shit.
Anyway...thanks again for everyone who has helped, whether by spreading the word or donating. the campaign is still up (original details below.) Love you all as always.

Here are my stock rules; please adhere to them:
Rules of Use1—MODEL STOCK RULES! Model stock go by the same rules as all other stock, but there may be restrictions for certain model stock. Look on the deviation for specific restriction (or lack thereof) for model stock.
2—CHILD MODEL STOCK! Child model stock goes by the same rules as all other stock, but as with the model stock, there may be additional restrictions. NO MATURE/SEXUAL/EROTIC PICTURES! No child stock may *ever* be a part of these. Some parents are okay with dark or violent stocks, and that will be noted.
3—Give me credit for the stock you use. Link back either to my stock account or the specific deviation, whichever you prefer. Optional: You don't have to state what part of the picture you used my stock in, but it would be nice. C:

Mom's Contest - Ended--Update
UPDATE: So I think that I am going to run this contest again at a later date, perhaps in the fall, when people are more apt to do creative things. Maybe I will give three months this time, too. Thanks again to MostlyWood for their entry! So-- I only got one entry for this contet. I dunno what I will do with the other points. I may just give them out to people who do pics of Mom that I really like over the next couple of months. I'll figure it out. Anyway, the winner, of course, is this pic..it gave me a laugh, and I love it. So thanks to MostlyWood for their submission! Mom would have gotten a kick out of it. C: So this is my first journal under the new DA. Not a huge fan, but meh. Took while to figure out how to do this. XD

Update: Thank you to everyone who has boosted my contest! you are all awesome. And thank you to those who have expressed interest! I can't wait to see what you come up with. Just a note--it we do indeed get Eclipse, er, foisted upon us, I might be slow in getting things handled, so keep that in mind. That's planned for May 20th, as things stand now.
I still plan to put the thumbnails of all entrants on the journal as I get them with a special feature of the winners at the end. (This is assuming this is still possible with eclipse.) So, I hope you all have been inspired to create something, or at least to pass the time
Imminent Contest
Haven't been around...I know. atuff has happened. A lot of it. Don't really want to get into it. But...
I will be having a contest soon and was wondering--would anyone be willing to give it some publicity once I've got it up? I was thinking of maybe contacting some of the senior members that I know used to be active in the stock community, but I wasn't sure if it was a great idea to go bothering everyone about it or not. What do you think, is this an okay thing to do? I've sent a note to the lone stock community volunteer but not heard back yet. Not sure if busy or not around.

Ideas for model stock shoots are always welcome. I have to work with what I or my models already have and/or can borrow, but I can usually make things work. Yay improvisation. Creepy things are my favorites.

I came across your resources and read this journal. I'm sorry for all the pain you're in. I was homeless along with my wife back in 2006 when we lost our house. I know what the stress of bills is like. I was raised in a ghetto neighborhood and remember, at 4 years old, this church came over and said let's pray, instead of helping us. I looked at the lady and said, "Thst won't make my nightlight work!"
