hyenacub-stock has started a donation pool!

So, my next contest idea will be put into effect as soon as I can get enough points...2200 is my goal.

My last one, the one I did for my crime group was fun, but this one will be a little more personal. It will be a contest in honor and remembrance of my mother. She was a great model and has a lot of good stuff to work with. C:

So if anyone has a few points to spare and would like to donate them, that'd be awesome. Anything is appreciated!

You must be logged in to donate.

So, I never properly featured the winners from my CRIME CONTEST.  Things in my life got stupid crappy and insane, and I apologize for that.  So I am doing the feature now--both here and at my Crime-Stock group.  : D  Better late than never, I suppose.  So here re some features from my winners...and thanks again to all you guys who entered.  (And look out for a future contest from me within the next month or two!)

So-- nitchwarmer ...  This gentleman was my first place winner with The Recruiter:

The Recruiter by nitchwarmer

This guy likes his dark art--and I love it!  Here are three of my favorites of his from his gallery:

Ally and the Giant Peach by nitchwarmer  Innocuous Betrayal by nitchwarmer

Mature Content

Across the River by nitchwarmer

I love the colors in that first one.  I am a fan of bright, primary colors, and he manages to paint a dark and creepy scene along with those colors.  Alice meets Snow White meets James and the Giant Peach meets Poe?  Hell yeah.

Second pic--creepy-ass child.  Had me sold.  : D

Third--now this is not a dark art, but is very beautiful.  It's soft, natural, and serene.  It's got a beautiful model and gorgeous landscape, and the shadows/lighting are spot on.  Love it.

Second place was blueatlantean with Move Him:

Move Him by blueatlantean

Here are three faves of mine from her:

Prongs by blueatlantean  Once in a new moon by blueatlantean  Looking Back by blueatlantean

This artist doesn't have much up, but what's there is definitely worth the look!  The first is a Harry Potter reference and gorgeously could I resist?

That second one is whimsical and beautiful and has a cute child in it.  (And more primary colors, woo!)  Not sure if this makes me think of clowns or Dreamworks, but either way I love it.

This one is classy and beautiful, with gorgeous, soft lighting and a fantasy feel to itl  Great stuff!

Third place was DarkStormSeeker with Chasing the Thief:

Chasing the Thief by DarkStormSeeker

Here are three of my favorites from her:

Adorable trio by DarkStormSeeker  Pegasus Kilava by DarkStormSeeker  Fairy Guardian Ayanna by DarkStormSeeker

Okay, so I feel I need a disclaimer for this first one.  I am not a Pokemon fan, but these little guys in her style are irresistible.  :XD:

I just love the color palette on this pegasus--and the fact that it's a realistic sort of horse, with markings and all, but it's pink.  I think it adds a bit of realism to the fantasy of this work.

Again--the colors.  I see a lot of cool colors and pinks in her art, and love the contrast of the yellows and oranges!

Again, guys, I love your stuff, and I hope you like this feature, as late as it is.  XD
